On lower panel are old sailing schooners and whalers; the top features hot air baloon, early biplane, zepplin and jet. This planisphere was printed in an edition of 500 and 50 on Arches paper. Includes three decorative compass rose oriented with the north to the upper margin. The Transport Aeriens Intercontinentaux company began as a charter airline in June 1946 in association with the Messageries Maritime Shipping Company.
